Truly Interoperable Service
By nature, MDTs cross organisational and care boundaries. With this, it can be a challenge to ensure that each organisation’s equipment and services can easily work with one another. Our MDT platform is truly interoperable, supporting Cisco, Poly, Crestron, Lifesize and other standards-based room systems, as well as services such as Microsoft Teams, Webex, Zoom and Google.
Support for Microsoft Teams
Our service fully supports and makes it easy for MDT rooms to call into Microsoft Teams meetings. This includes support for Cisco, Poly, Crestron, Lifesize and other standards-based room systems. On supported room systems, a simple ‘one button to push’ user experience allows easy calling into the meeting. For users, clinicians can join the MDT directly from their Microsoft Teams client.
Fully Inclusive Concierge
and Technical Support Service
Support issues for MDT and video conferencing rooms can be frustrating for users and a challenge for local support teams. To address this, Cinos operates a fully manned technical support service. End users and MDT coordinators / navigators have a direct line to our team. This can be optionally extended to a full concierge service.
Our contact details are published within the room for immediate assistance with any issues. Any issues raised are fed back to local IT teams through Service Management.
Proactive Monitoring
of Video Conferencing Equipment
Video conferencing equipment is proactively monitored by our Network Operations Centre. If something gets unplugged, we know about it. We will liaise with local teams to get the room up and running again before it affects the users.

If you have a service user or a patient who would benefit from being linked into your MDT meeting for a secure consultation, then we can provide this. Our Refero service is fully integrated to our services and offers ability for these one-time consultations. This can be fully integrated with clinical systems for unified appointment booking.
