Cinos are delighted to have attended Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2015, hosted at the Amsterdam RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre. This year’s event was the biggest so far with 1000+ exhibitors spread across the 12 halls of the RAI, awaiting the arrival of over 50,000 registered attendees.
With all the major manufacturers and partners exhibiting, the event not only provided the perfect opportunity to see the latest product developments, but it gave the team from Cinos a chance to catch up with key partners and suppliers. AMX by Harman was amongst some of the most engaging stands and was one which saw a constant flow of traffic. ‘Connecting Worlds’ was the theme for Barco at ISE. In line with their theme the Barco ‘Spaceport’ stand provided a fantastic platform to showcase their content management, visualisation and collaboration solutions.
The guys at Prysm introduced us to their range of Cascade Collaboration Solutions. This innovative solution is ideal for geographically dispersed teams who need to combine and analyse data from multiple sources in real time. Users can share, reposition, resize, annotate and edit all types of content through on-screen touch, PCs or mobile devices. On the stand, Prysm explained that their range of display and video wall sizes enables any size conference space to profit from their solutions; making this a viable option to consider for future opportunities.
LG introduced their brand new 105” 21:9 5k Ultra HD Touch Display. The display allows for life-like picture quality; four times sharper that conventional full HD displays. Ideal for retail settings, the LG display can render stunning, life-size images of people and products. This striking display will also be available in interactive format, opening up further opportunities customer engagement and organisational collaboration. Christopher Ault, Account Manager at LG explained “On our booth at ISE we had the product in the education zone, realistically though, we see this being used in corporate / blue-chip collaborative workspaces. Due to its unique UltraWide 21:9 aspect ratio, its ideal for multi-tasking plus the entire screen area is usable and within reach.”
With a range of innovative display and projector solutions on show, NEC’s stand delivered an outstanding visual experience attracting constant activity throughout ISE 2015. Vanessa Freeman, Channel Account Manager at NEC, introduced us to their interactive laser curtain solution. Vanessa explained “Using DisplayNote software and new UM series ultra-short throw projectors, NEC generates an expansive 7 metre interactive wall supporting up to 255 touch points for true multiuser collaboration. This compelling yet competitively priced resource offers a sure enticement to encourage all inclusive participation in both public sector and corporate environments.”
WEY TEC used ISE 2015 to introduce their new flagship multifunctional keyboard; the WEY Smart Touch. The The WEY representatives gave us a full product demonstration, explaining how their latest model has been developed to include an integrated 10” interactive touchscreen. This innovative screen enables users to simultaneously control multiple devices, client apps and customisable functions. After our demonstration we had to agree, it really is the smartest keyboard in the world!
As we walked through the many halls of the RAI, ones of the most eye catching solutions on display, and one which certainly got our attention was the Dreamoc HD3 solution from Realfiction. With a unique ability to integrate a physical product with a holographic animation, this display solution really provides an unparalleled visual experience. Deamoc HD3 is no doubt a strong player in the retail environment but we are looking forward to exploring further opportunities in the corporate and public sector spaces.
After forging a strategic partnership with Cyviz back in September 2014, it was great to catch up with the team at ISE. With their display and control systems on show, visiting the Cyviz stand further emphasised how their robust command and control solutions are ideal for use in the secure, mission critical environments that fit perfectly within our client portfolio.
SVSi were present at ISE, showcasing their IP-based distribution and switching system with integrated KVM control. These versatile control systems are unique delivering the best video and audio quality possible over any network segment or link. The ability to easily scale the SVSi systems is a key advantage; allowing us to add more sources or displays to a client’s system as their needs evolve. Therefore it is no surprise that SVSi believe their networked AV solution will be the standard AV architecture of the future.
As well as providing an IP based distribution system, WyreStorm were promoting their range of HDBaseT integration solutions. The latest addition to the Pro Plus range of matrix solutions features a fully customisable chassis design and a selection of multi-format digital and analogue transmission cards options. This brings a much greater degree of flexibility as each card can be inserted in any sequence to fully customise matrices based on the specific project requirements.
There is no doubt ISE 2015 was a resounding success for all involved. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved; from the ISE and RAI organisers and associated staff to all of the exhibitors, it really was the best ISE yet!
