Cinos is supporting the Equal Brewkery Community Interest Company, a not-for-profit social enterprise run entirely by volunteers, with the donation of a Samsung Flip interactive whiteboard.
Equal Brewkery supports adults with learning disabilities, mental health and those who are neurodivergent. It aims not only to teach new skills in baking bread and brewing beer but also aims to improve the confidence, well-being and self-esteem of all their customers.
Last year the Brewkery’s premises were suddenly closed due to a structural problem with the foundations and they had to seek a new home. After much searching, they found the perfect venue, a disused shipping container located at the beautiful Whitingham Country Park Norwich. Hard working and dedicated volunteers helped to convert it into a modern well-equipped micro-bakery and brewery.
Founder Bill Russell approached Cinos to see if they could advise and help with the latest state of the art technology. Specifically, for something that would enhance the learning and develop the understanding of the Brewkery customers.
I was absolutely astounded when Cinos generously donated the new interactive whiteboard. It will be used to develop and enrich customers’ understanding of baking and brewing processes. We want to emphasise that people with learning disabilities can achieve great things and succeed. We are very grateful that we can make our training sessions enjoyable and interactive using such a high-quality AV solution. | ||
